AlphaPoint at Bitcoin 2022 – Wrap up 🦩🌴

AlphaPoint sponsored Bitcoin 2022 conference, which took place at the Miami Beach Convention Center April 6-9. Bitcoin 2022 is the largest crypto event of the year, with an announced attendance of twenty-five thousand people – more than double the number of last year’s attendees – according to the numbers announced by the event’s organizers, BTC Media. The energy on the floor was palpable, with a diverse mix of attendees ranging from VCs, bitcoin maximalists, and general finance fanatics.

Bitcoin 2022 was supported by the biggest names in blockchain, with AlphaPoint counting this year’s conference as our 4th straight as a dedicated sponsor. Our booth was heavily trafficked and well-staffed with members from every team, fielding questions, scheduling demos and taking private meetings for those interested in white label exchange technology or the Chivo wallet. Recruiting was also central to our expo experience, as we work to fill our 20+ positions in programming and engineering. Our booth staff included Igor Telyatnikov – CEO, Vadim Telyatnikov – Co-founder, Tristan Thoma – Product and Gov/Payment Applications, Matt Moss – Product,  Scott Bambacigno, Trey Poirier and Eli Moser – Sales, Reba Beeson – General Counsel, Patrick Shields and Leslie Giraldo – Marketing, Joe Ventura – Chief Information Officer, Kit Lee – Board of Directors, Kriti Bansal – Accounting, and Alex Davidoff – Account Management/Business Dev.

The conference was a high profile platform for AlphaPoint to showcase the full-range of our white label product offerings, with an added emphasis on our Chivo wallet project. Our booth was fully-stocked with swag including totes, t-shirts, and plenty of goat regalia as an homage our roll-out of first national Bitcoin wallet, Chivo. We were honored to have Tristan Thoma take the stage for the ‘Rolling Out Bitcoin In El Salvador’ panel to discuss the intricacies of mass adoption on a countrywide level. Tristan’s panel also touched on the collaboration between AlphaPoint and Netki on certain facets of the Chivo application and applicability of this adoption model in other nations exploring bitcoin nationalization as a means for expanded financial inclusion.

Afterparties were ubiquitous, including our own sold-out cocktail event with Linklaters at the Tony Hotel rooftop in South Beach. The crowd consisted of crypto professionals from across the industry, with many in regulatory and legislative fields. Take a look at the recap above for photos and video clips.

Anyone we met and networked with on the expo floor is encouraged to reconnect directly. Please don’t hesitate to send a direct email to sales@alphapoint.com. Until next year 🚀
