Position Profile
The Software Engineer (React Native) will be part of the development team. He/She will be responsible for designing, building, implementing, and maintaining react native applications. The software engineer will collaborate with other members of the development team, quality assurance, and business stakeholders to build safe, reliable, fast and user-friendly applications.
Job Responsibilities
- Meeting with the development team to discuss user interface ideas and applications
- Reviewing application requirements and interface designs
- Designing, and implementing UI components for JavaScript-based web applications and mobile applications
- Developing and implementing highly responsive user interface components using react concepts
- Create impeccable apps for both iOS and Android platforms using React Native
- Writing application interface codes using JavaScript following react workflows
- Troubleshooting interface software and debugging application codes
- Write app documentation or a user manual, documenting application changes and developing updates
Required Skills & Experience
- Extensive knowledge of REACT concepts and experience with JavaScript application design
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React Native the DOM, and React components
- Previous experience working as a react native application developer, and has built React Native apps
- A strong command of native iOS and Android development
- Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux
- Proficiency with debugging and performance testing
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Strong collaboration skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
