This summer, AlphaPoint’s Director of Product, Government & Payments, Tristan Thoma, joined NFT Expoverse LA to discuss the process behind creating a crypto infrastructure for a country following his leadership with the rollout of El Salvador’s first National Bitcoin wallet, Chivo. Tristan led a conversation on ‘Powering National Adoption of Bitcoin‘, alongside Eric Gravengaard from Athena Bitcoin and Justin Newton from Netki, as they each spoke on personal experiences from their individual work on El Salvador’s revolutionary Chivo bitcoin wallet.
With AlphaPoint’s role as software infrastructure technology provider supporting Chivo and integrating El Salvador’s Bitcoin financial ecosystem, Tristan explained Chivo’s global impact and plans to continue helping other countries with their bitcoin adoption as other nations look to emulate El Salvador’s footsteps.
