How to become a blockchain engineer for college students

If you're focusing on blockchain technology this early on in your coding career, you're already a step ahead of many on the path towards a full-time position in the blockchain industry.For those new to coding and computer science, it is first beneficial to understand that blockchain development is an extremely wide arena of study, and one that is definitely language agnostic, e.g., JavaScript, C#, Python, Golang, Solidity. [Include a few more basic points]Personal ProjectsAs you progress academically and expand your study of computer science concepts and languages, it’s useful to pursue personal projects as a training exercise to familiarize yourself with the more detailed architecture/framework that blockchains utilize and are built upon. These projects don't need to be extensive or completely fleshed out, as the goal here is to highlight your current skill-sets and pursuit of new knowledge. From a professional development angle, it’s an effective way to enhance and formulate a technical understanding of new topics and theories. Creating learning opportunities by seeking hands-on experience demonstrates initiative and proactiveness. One way to do this is to work on open source projects. If you have a favorite project, consider joining their discord server, interacting with their community, and reaching out to help.Self Teaching ResourcesBeing a self-sufficient learner. You could utilize MIT courseware on youtube as a starting point to learn more about the starting/intermediate cryptography concepts that build up the base of almost all blockchains.
