The prestigious American company AlphaPoint has joined the effort to provide more technology and security to Chivo Wallet, allowing for financial access support to be even more effective.
AlphaPoint has all the world experience to offer technological solutions, financial services and access to Bitcoin for millions of Salvadorans who are actively using the Chivo wallet.
The American company uses effective and stable tools for innovative financial products and services for more than 150 clients around the world, including: Stock Operators, Stockbrokers, OTC Desks, Liquidity Providers and Market Makers, and Token Exchanges Security (STO).
The objective of President Nayib Bukele with Chivo is to provide millions of salvadorans with the opportunity to know about bitcoin, access financial services, as well as the possibility of receiving and sending remittances without charging commissions.
AlphaPoint co-founder and CEO Igor Telyatnikov expressed that El Salvador and President Bukele are “truly leading the world” with the nationwide adoption of bitcoin.
“No one else has attempted to execute a project of this nature. At AlphaPoint we are honored to be involved in the process and be able to provide reliable, scaled solutions needed for this effort. The Chivo Wallet app is currently supporting millions of Salvadorans, many of them accessing financial services for the first time,” he added.
AlphaPoint will expand compatibility with the Salvadoran government’s point-of-sale systems, websites and administrative console.
Last June, the Salvadoran president announced the implementation of bitcoin through the Chivo Wallet and presented the bill to the Legislative Assembly for their approval. La prestigiosa empresa estadounidense AlphaPoint se ha unido al esfuerzo de proveer más tecnología y seguridad a Chivo Wallet, con lo que el soporte de acceso financiero será aún más eficaz.

AlphaPoint ampliará la compatibilidad con los sistemas de puntos de venta, los sitios web y la consola administrativa del gobierno salvadoreño.
En junio pasado, el gobernante salvadoreño anunció la implementación del bitcóin por medio de la billetera Chivo Wallet y presentó el proyecto de ley a la Asamblea Legislativa para su aprobación. A partir del 7 de septiembre pasado, la normativa entró en vigor, convirtiendo a El Salvador en el primer país en el mundo en legalizar el uso del bitcóin como moneda de curso legal, al igual que el dólar estadounidense.
