The goal of the JOBS Act was to increase investment opportunity for average Americans. In practice, equity crowdfunding has struggled to find success. The panel explored how technology can save this opportunity. Our discussion was followed by an intro to the Fundopolis platform, a pre-launch equity crowdfunding portal running on AlphaPoint’s blockchain tehnology built with the goal of opening up financial opportunity to all.
